The recently concluded 2024 China-U.S. Sports Exchange Forum was a remarkable event that highlighted the power of sports to foster cultural connections and international friendship. This forum not only reflected on the inspirational moments of past Olympic Games but also provided a visionary preview of the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Triple-I Education was honored to be invited to participate, and we take immense pride in sharing that our student, Jaden, represented us as a torchbearer, adding a dazzling moment to this prestigious gathering.

The forum featured an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers and sports luminaries who shared their expertise and insights on how sports can drive collaboration and innovation across borders. Key speakers included:

  • David Simon: An eight-time member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, who reflected on the transformative impact of the Olympics on urban development.

  • John Naber: A swimming legend who won four gold medals and one silver at the Olympics, setting six world records. His inspiring speech revisited his Olympic journey and looked ahead to the future of sports.

  • Jill Fontaine: A director at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics Organizing Committee, who provided a detailed overview of how the upcoming Games will blend cutting-edge technology with traditional Olympic values.

  • Matt Cacciatore: Chairman of the Los Angeles Sports Commission, who highlighted the dynamic relationship between local sports industries and international events.

Their talks were thought-provoking and underscored the extraordinary ability of sports to transcend borders and unite people worldwide.

Representing Triple-I Education, our student Jaden participated in a special torch relay segment of the forum as a torchbearer. This honor was a testament not only to Jaden’s personal dedication to sports but also to our institution’s commitment to fostering global citizens. At Triple-I Education, we emphasize cultivating young leaders with an international outlook, and Jaden’s participation exemplifies the success of that mission.
